How would you tackle this situation

You are the Manager of a small team. You deliver most of the time good outcomes.

A member of your team Pieter is not performing well compared to his colleagues. The team  started at the same time 2 years ago. He complains about stress in his job. You already gave him advise but he does not show the results you expect. Your company runs through the HR department excellent stress management sessions. You are going to hold a coaching session with him and propose him to follow it. Prepare your coaching session. 

How would you tackle this situation? 

I will post the viewpoint of the coachee later, but first I suggest you perform some thinking about the case.
